After gaining a degree in Physics from the University of Patras, Alexandra Michali graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts (1993), where she studied painting under Dimitris Mytaras, Panagiotis Tetsis and Rena Papaspyrou, sculpture under Giorgos Lappas, and Byzantine painting under K. Ksinopoulos and S. Giannoudis. She studied mosaics at the Kolefa workshop, and took part in a Masterclass at Maastricht in the Netherlands. She learned about ancient Greek art through the lectures and tours of the Archaeological Society of Athens and the Friends of the National Archaeological Museum, of which she is a member. She has taught art in private schools. Her work has been shown in five solo exhibitions and several group shows.
